Police Arrest Three in Craigslist Robbery at Warner Avenue Starbucks

Two adults and one juvenile were arrested in connection with the Nov. 11 robbery of a man responding to a Craigslist ad.

The Fountain Valley Police Department arrested three suspects Thursday who allegedly robbed a man responding to a Craigslist ad that offered a $400 Starbucks gift car for $200, according to a prepared statement.

The robbery occurred Nov. 11 outside a Starbucks at 9025 Warner Ave., where the victim arrived and the transaction took place, the statement said.

The victim was then punched several times and threatened by the seller and two other suspects who got out of a vehicle nearby. The suspects drove off with the cash and gift card, according to the statement.

On Wednesday, Fountain Valley police located the suspects and a juvenile at a home in Fontana. They were booked in the Orange County Jail. The adult suspects were identified as Daniel Molina, 20, and Christopher Godinez, 19.
