The Week Ahead in Fountain Valley
The City Council will meet, and the Fountain Valley School Board faces an emotionally charged decision about school closure.
Monday: The Lady Baron Hoop Challenge will begin at Fountain Valley High School. The tournament features 12 teams, including two of the Lady Barons' Sunset League rivals.
Tuesday: The Fountain Valley City Council will hold its regular meeting. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. in the council chambers.
The Fountain Valley Lady Barons will tip off their regular season at home against Costa Mesa. Game time is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
