Woman Arrested on Meth, Child Endangerment Charges
Fountain Valley officers pulled the suspect over on a traffic stop and discovered her young son seated on the floorboard.

A Huntington Beach woman was arrested last week in Fountain Valley on suspicion of felony child endangerment and driving under the influence of a controlled substance.
Jennifer M. Loughran, 37, had been pulled by a Fountain Valley officer on a traffic stop when the officer noticed Loughran’s 8-year-old son sitting on the front floorboard of the single-cab pickup truck. The officer searched the truck and found a glass pipe used for smoking methamphetamine on the floorboard where Loughran's son had been sitting.
A drug and DUI evaluation led the officer to believe Loughran was driving while under the influence of a controlled substance. She was arrested and later booked at Orange County Jail on that charge as well as felony child endangerment. Two other passengers, a male and female, both 17, were arrested on drug charges and later released to their parents.
