210 Freeway Injury Collision Stalls Traffic

GLENDORA, CA — Commuter traffic was at a standstill Wednesday morning for an injury collision on the 210 Freeway, just west of the 57 interchange at South Lone Hill Avenue.

A blue Toyota Prius collided with a green Plymouth Voyager van, California Highway Patrol Officers said. Those vehicles were blocking the HOV lane on the westbound 210 freeway, at the merge of the 57 freeway at just before 9:15 a.m., CHP said.

A person inside the van was injured, according to officers from the scene and an ambulance was called, according to CHP. Traffic was still heavy at 9:45 a.m. as tow trucks arrived to clear the scene.
