Applicants Sought For Glendora Community Services Commission

GLENDORA, CA β€” City officials are looking for prospective applicants for Glendora’s Community Services Commission after an unexpected vacancy opened up a spot on the body.

The five-member commission advises the City Council and Community Services director on issues relating to park maintenance, recreation programs and park development, according to a statement from Glendora officials. Commission members serve a four-year term, and this open position’s term ends June 30, 2023.

A qualified applicant must be 18 years or older, registered to vote and be a resident of Glendora for the duration of their term, city officials said. Applications are due no later than Aug. 5 at noon.

Applications can be obtained anytime from Glendora’s website or the City Clerk’s Office, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
