Battle Of The Books Returns To Glendora Library Later This Month
The literary program is sponsored by the Glendora Public Library Friends Foundation and the Rotary Club.

GLENDORA, CA β Literary war will break out in Glendora on Sept. 30 when the Battle of the Books returns to the library.
The event involves 15 teams of youths reading three different books and memorizing as many facts as possible from them before they face off against each other in a trivia competition, according to organizers. The battle will begin at 6 p.m. in the libraryβs Bidwell Forum.
Guests chosen by each battle team will make up the in-person audience, and the public can watch the event on Glendora's YouTube page.

The teams will have to memorize faces from these three books: "The Blackthorn Key" by Kevin Sands, "Death on the River of Doubt" by Samantha Seiple and "Framed" by James Ponti.
