Flames Scorch Cars, Garage of San Dimas Home

Flames engulfed two cars and garage of a home in San Dimas Sunday, but was extinguished before it spread to the rest of the house, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

Firefighters were called to the scene at Arrow Highway and Ingleton Avenue near the San Dimas- Glendora border at 4:50 p.m., according to a Los Angeles County Fire dispatcher.

Video footage of the fire shows smoke billowing high above surrounding residential homes.

The fire was put out by 5:16 p.m. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
