GLENDORA, CA β€” A portion of Glendora Avenue will get a new set of parklets, city officials announced Monday.

Portions of the street in the Village area will intermittently close during the installation, according to officials. Residents can use Village alleyways as a detour or take Vermont and Vista Bonita avenues.

Parklets extend outdoor seating for a business or restaurant by taking up a parking spot rather than space on a sidewalk, officials said.
