Glendora Unified Poised To Give District Employees Raises

If approved, the salary increases would add $2.49 million to Glendora Unified's budget.

The Glendora Unified School District's Board of Education is expected to approve a pay raise for many of its employees during a special Monday meeting.

If approved, district employees who are a part of the Glendora Teachers Association, the district chapter of the California School Employees Association and unrepresented confidential and management employees a one-time 2 percent off-schedule increase and a 2 percent ongoing raise effective July 1, according to a district staff report.

If approved, the raises would add $2.47 million to the district’s operating budget for the 2021 – ’22 fiscal year. Around $1.19 million of the amount would be for the one-time payment, the staff report said.

The Board of Education’s meeting is scheduled for Monday, 7 p.m. and will be streamed on Glendora Unified's website.
