Glendora Coordinating Council Seeks Community Members
Looking for ways to become more involved in the Glendora community? The Glendora Community Coordinating Council may be a place to start.

The Glendora  Community Coordinating Council invites members of the community to learn more about community involvement, service clubs and local events.
Every month, representatives from Glendora service clubs, schools and local government meet to share local news and events, while recognizing noteworthy residents of the community.Â
The council met Monday, Sept. 9 for its first meeting with new president Amanda Behnke.
"Our goal is to recognize one adult and one youth volunteer in the city each month for their contributions," said Behnke.Â
The council also hosts the holiday basket program, which provides food for needy families for the holidays, and a campership program for kids in the summer.
The council meets the second Monday of the month. The next meeting is Monday, Oct. 14.Â
Membership is $25Â for an individual and $50 for a business for the entire year.
