Glendora Historical Society Museum Celebrates 100 Years

The museum reopens to the public with new displays.

After two months of closure, the Glendora Historical Society Museum on Glendora Avenue reopened its doors to the public Saturday, March 2.

The museum was closed while parts of the building was repainted and the museum installed new exhibits.

The museum, which was the city’s original City Hall, firehouse and police station, will be open Saturdays 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. featuring new displays honoring the building’s 100th anniversary.

The Glendora Historical Society meets March 25 at 6 p.m. in the Bidwell Forum at the Glendora Public Library. The meeting’s topic will be β€œHistory of Water and Power in Southern California.”
