Glendora Man Pleads No Contest to Molesting 12-Year-Old Girl
Jami Jess Ortiz, 39, was arrested by Glendora Police after his fiancé discovered him in a sexual act with a 12-year-old girl.
A Glendora man arrested and charged with pleaded no contest o charges Tuesday in a Pomona courthouse.
Jami Jess Ortiz, 39, entered a no contest plea to committing a lewd act on a child, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office. However a charge of continuous sexual abuse was dropped.
Ortiz was sentenced to six years in state prison. He will have a lifetime requirement of registering as a sex offender.

Ortiz was arrested Saturday after his fiancé walked in on him having intercourse with a 12-year-old girl, according to Glendora Police.
Neighbors detained Ortiz to keep him from fleeing the scene before police arrived.
