Glendora PD Accepting Citizens Academy Applications

The Glendora Police Department is currently accepting applications to its Citizen’s Academy.

The academy, which teaches students about the functions of the Glendora Police Department, is free to residents and has graduated over 600 students. The 12-week course will include introductions to traffic stops, radar enforcement, dispatch, fraud, drug information, K-9 units and identity theft, among other topics.

The Academy begins Wednesday, March 20, 2013 from 6:30-9 p.m. at the Police Department and will run every Wednesday night for 12 weeks.

Applications can be picked up at the Glendora Police Department, by visiting www.cityofglendora.org or by e-mailing nulloa@glendorapd.org.

Applications will be accepted until Friday, March 15.  All applicants must consent to a record and warrant check.
