Man Killed in Rollover Crash of San Gabriel Mountains

The crash happened on Mount Baldy road near the mount Baldy Lodge was reported just before 10 p.m. Thursday.

GLENDORA, CA - One man was killed when his car crashed and rolled about 50 feet down a hillside in the San Gabriel Mountains near Glendora, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The crash on Mount Baldy road near the mount Baldy Lodge was reported just before 10 p.m. Thursday, CHP Officer Patrick Kimball said.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics, according to Kimball and L.A. County fire Dispatch Supervisor Kyle Sanford. His name was withheld pending family notification.

No other people were inside the car and only one vehicle was involved, according to Kimball.

The crash was under investigation by the CHP.
