Parents Protest Over Mask Mandate At Glendora Unified: Report
Around 60 people held a small protest Monday against having a mask mandate for students returning to on-campus instruction.

GLENDORA, CA β A small group of protestors held a rally at Sellers Elementary School on Monday against requiring students to wear face coverings when they return for on-campus instruction, according to the San Gabriel Valley Tribune.
Protestors argued that it should be a parentβs choice whether their child should wear a face covering while at school, not the district. However, that decision isnβt actually up to the district, according to the Valley Tribune.
Glendora Unified School District Board President Zondra Borg told the paper the mandate comes from both Californiaβs and Los Angeles Countyβs public health departments. The decision is out of the districtβs hands, she said.
