Police Blotter: Basement Fire Ignites at Glendora Business

Monday, Sept. 16

1:12 p.m. GRAND THEFT AUTO REPORT: 1600 block S. Willow Ave.

2:30 p.m. BURGLARY INVESTIGATION: 200 block N. Country Club Rd.

2:56 p.m. Craig Williams, 55, was arrested at 1305 S. Lone Hill Ave. and charged with theft.

4 p.m. A basement fire was ignited at a business at Glendora Avenue and Foothill Blvd.  There were no injuries reported and the fire was contained to the basement. Firefighters knocked down the fire by 5 p.m.

Tuesday, Sept. 17

5:47 a.m. VEHICLE BURGLARY INVESTIGATION: 1000 block E. Ivy St.

10:24 a.m. GRAND THEFT AUTO: 1300 block E. Gladstone St.

2:06 p.m. RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY: 700 block N. Easley Canyon Rd.

Wednesday, Sept. 18

4:02 p.m. VEHICLE BURGLARY REPORT: 100 block E. Meda Ave.

6:42 p.m. Amada Yadiro Navarro, 36 of La Puente, was arrest at 1950 Auto Centre Dr. and charged with theft.

Thursday, Sept. 19

8:52 p.m. VEHICLE BURGLARY INVESTIGATION: 900 block E. Myrtle Avenue.

10:54 p.m. Timothy Leo Donahue, 20, was arrested and charged with a DUI after causing a non-injury accident at Lone Hall and Route 66, according to Glendora Police reports.

Friday, Sept. 20

5 p.m. Glendora Police searched for a missing man with Alzheimer’s last seen near Arrow and Grand Avenue. He was found about an hour later.

9:58 p.m. GRAND THEFT AUTO REPORT: 1000 block W. Foothill Blvd.

10:12 p.m. RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY REPORT:  800 block E. Whitcomb Ave.

Saturday, Sept. 21

7:45 a.m. VEHICLE BURGLARY REPORT: 1200 block S. Concord Ln.

6:25 p.m. VEHICLE BURGLARY REPORT: 500 block E. Claraday St.

10:36 p.m. A bear was spotted in the 200 block of Oaknoll Dr.

Sunday, Sept.  22

7:14 a.m. Sheena Ann Spalione, 29 of Glendora, was arrested at 1712 E. Route 66 and charged with soliciting a lewd act.

9:22 a.m. BURGLARY INVESTIGATION: 1600 block S. Bentley Pl.

1:13 p.m. Multiple vehicles were involved in an injury collision off the 210 freeway east of sunflower. L.A. County Fire extracted a trapped driver in an overturned car.
