Police Blotter: Walmart Burglaries, Drugs and DUI

Local police activity for the week of March 4 to March 10.

The following information was provided by the Glendora Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

Monday, March 4

2 p.m. A lawnmower was stolen from a property on the 800 block of E. Leadora.

9:42 p.m. Randall James Schmidt, 53, was arrested at Grand and Baseline avenues for disorderly conduct. His bail was set at $250.

1:30 am Two Ontario men were found with stolen credit cards and a stolen vehicle at Walmart.

9:59 a.m. Jennifer Marie Drew-Garcia, 38, was arrested at 360 E. Route 66 on DUI charges. Her bail was set at $5,000.

2:21 p.m. Lindarosa Virginia Garay, 36, was arrested for burglary, writing false checks and other charges. Her bail was set at $20,000.

4 p.m. Glendora PD investigated a possible burglary in the 1700 block of S. Glendora.

Wednesday, March 6

1:01 a.m. Manu Gulabacha Gandhi, 35, was arrested at Sierra Madre and Bubbling Springs for possession of an instrument for unlawful drug use. His bail was set at $500.

11:40 a.m. Possible overdose in the 900 block of E. Woodland Lane.

Thursday, March 7

12:54 p.m. Amparo Marcilela Estevane, 20, was arrested in Pomona on burglary charges committed in Glendora.Β  Her bail was set at $20,000.

Β 2:40 p.m.Β  Craig Mathiesen, 54, was arrested at 608 W. Gaillard for being drunk in public. Amanda Marie Orr, 35, was arrested at the same location for possession of a controlled substance for sale and receiving known stolen property worth $400 or more. Her bail was set at $30,000.

5:50 p.m. Glendora PD followed a possible DUI suspect eastbound Route 66. The driver rammed into a center median. When police caught up with the suspect, they discovered the driver was elderly, though not under the influence.

9:51 p.m. Aida Leticia Gonzales, 31, was arrested at Walmart, 1950 E. Auto Center Drive, on a burglary charge. Her bail was set at $20,000.

6:30 p.m. Two thieves at Walmart make off in a U-Haul van.

9:30 p.m. A woman is detained for attempting to steal makeup and other items at Walmart.

Friday, March 8

2:23 a.m. Ahmad Abdel Baker, 21, was arrested at 401 W. Ada Ave. on theft charges. His bail was set $20,000.

11:15 a.m. Frank Martin Rojas, 26, was arrested at 712 W. Dike for vehicle theft, evading a peace officer and driving on a suspended license. His bail was set at $35,000. Barbara Marie Contreras, 29, was arrested at the same time and location, for vehicle theft, possession of a controlled substance and other drug charges. No bail was set.

2 p.m. Glendora PD responded to a report of a possible distressed resident. The caller was concerned because the neighbor hung their U.S .flag upside down.

9:22 p.m. Hector Sitiovilchis, 37, was arrested at Grand and Leeside for disorderly conduct. His bail was set $250.

11:37 p.m. Tomas Arturo Garcia, 35, was arrested at Crown and Willow for disorderly conduct. His bail was set at $250.

Saturday, March 9

12:08 a.m. Enrique Villagrana, 20, was arrested at Walmart for possession of a switchblade, contributing of a delinquency of a minor, among other charges. His bail was set at $5,000.

4:45 a.m. Albert Adam Rocha, 21, was arrested at Barranca and Gladstone on DUI charges. His bail was set at $5,000.

8:22 a.m. Steven Athony Quintana, 39, was arrested at 712 W. Dike St. for driving on a suspended license and failure to produce proof of insurance. Delia Autumn Gertler, 20, was arrested at the same location for receiving known stolen property. Amanda Marie Orr, 35, was also arrested at the same location for possession of controlled substance paraphernalia.

1:22 p.m. Benjamin Garcia, 46, was arrest at 140 S. Glendora Ave. for driving on a suspended license and failure to produce a license.

1:48 p.m. Guy Walter Row, 57, at 1630 S. Barrance Ave. for possession of a controlled substance. His bail was set at $5,000.

Sunday, March 10

12:15 a.m. A vehicle hit a light pole in the 200 block of N. Morgan Ranch Road.

1:02 a.m. Alexandria Monet Swedlov, 19, was arrested for disorderly conduct and obstructing an officer. Her bail was set $10,000.

9:24 p.m. Jeffrey Allen Higgin, 43, was arrested at Le Mar Park Dr. and Route 66, for possession of a controlled substance, driving on a suspended license among other charges.
