'Recreation For All' Program Open To San Gabriel Valley Youths

Children ages 7 to 17 are eligible for the program, which is set to start in September.

AZUSA, CA β€” The Los Angeles County Department of Parks and Recreation wants San Gabriel Valley youths to stay active during the fall through its β€œRecreation For All” program.

The program is open to children ages 7 to 17, and will be held at recreation centers across Los Angeles County. Valleydale Park in Azusa will be the closest location to Glendora and will have β€œWii Fitness” classes and line dancing lessons, county officials said.

The classes are free to participate in and are scheduled to start on Sept. 7. Anyone interested in participating can register online at the Department of Parks and Recreation website.

β€œWii Fitness” classes will be held every Tuesday and Thursday, from 5:30 to 7 p.m., while line dancing lessons will be every Wednesday, 5:30 to 7 p.m., and Friday, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
