Five fifth grade classes in the Glendora Unified School District duked it out in a science competition earlier this month, answering science questions in a Jeopardy-style competition.
Cullen, La Fetra, Sellers, Stanton and Sutherland elementary schools gathered at Cullen Elementary School May 8 for the annual GUSD Elementary School Science bowl, sponsored and funded by the Kiwanis Club of Glendora.
The end, Stanton Elementary School emerged victorious, winning with a score of 14,200 points. Each member of the winning team received a $50 bond.Â
