Summer DUI Crackdown Ends With 2,313 Arrests
Two individuals were arrested on felony DUI charges causing death during the 18-day DUI crackdown.

After two weeks of DUI checkpoints and patrols, the 2013 Summer/Labor Day Holiday DUI Mobilization as come to a close, resulting in more than 2,000 arrests of people driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
The countywide Avoid the 100 anti-DUI campaign ended its summer DUI crackdown midnight Monday with 2,313 arrests over the last 18 days, according to Glendora Community Services Officer Wendy Brewer. In 2012, the campaign ended with 2,098 DUI arrests.

Glendora Police, along with 100 law enforcement agencies across the county, took part in the crackdown, coordinating DUI checkpoints and participating in DUI saturation patrols.
Law enforcement officers will continue conducting anti-DUI campaigns during the Halloween and Thanksgiving holidays.
