​Man Arrested For Stalking Half Moon Bay Woman: Sheriff's Office

A 34-year-old man was taken into custody for allegedly stalking a Half Moon Bay woman, San Mateo County Sheriff's Office said.

HALF MOON BAY, CA — A 34-year-old man was taken into custody for allegedly stalking a Half Moon Bay woman, San Mateo County Sheriff's Office said Saturday.

The 50-year-old victim received multiple messages, letters, packages and pieces of clothing from a person who had been making unwanted attempts to contact her, the sheriff's office said in a press release.

The suspect, Ignacio Martinez-Molina of Half Moon Bay, was identified through surveillance footage and other evidence. On Friday, sheriff's deputies took him into custody at his residence in Half Moon Bay, the sheriff's office said.
