Jewelry, Collectible Coins Stolen from Half Moon Bay Home
The burglary was discovered Wednesday afternoon.

The San Mateo County sheriff's office is investigating a residential burglary that occurred in Half Moon Bay on Wednesday afternoon.
Deputies responded to a home in the 600 block of Ruisseau Francais Avenue at about 3:30 p.m. and discovered a sliding glass door to the rear of the home had been smashed and the residence had been ransacked, police said.
It wasΒ determined the suspects took jewelry and collectible coins.
The burglary is thought to have occurredΒ sometime between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Earlier in the afternoon, at about 2:30 p.m., the San Mateo County sheriffβs officeΒ received report of a suspicious female knocking on the front door of a home in the 500 block ofΒ nearby Miramar Drive, in Miramar, police said.
When the resident answered the door, the unknown femaleΒ subject asked for somebody who did not live there. Deputies responded to the area, but were unableΒ to locate the suspicious female.
As of Wednesday evening it was unknown if this suspicious circumstance is related toΒ the above described burglary.
