Birds are one of the only forms of wildlife that urban dwellers encounter on a near daily basis. They are our connection to the natural world. And there is a lot we can do to support healthy urban bird populations. Ken Gilliland--Audubon volunteer and local native plant and bird expert--will lead this presentation that will help you learn about ways to make your garden, your balcony or your parkway a great place for birds. Then take a walk with Ken to seek out common local birds in Debs Park.
Anyone interested in seeing the wonders of nature in an urban environment. All ages are welcome, and it’s free of charge. Viewers are encouraged to bring binoculars if you have them, but the Audubon Center will have some to loan.
