Future of CD 1: Where do Cedillo and Gardea Stand on Affordable Housing (Part III)
The two candidates in the May 21 election address a key issue close to the hearts of many Latinos.
Former Assemblyman Gil Cedillo and Council District 1 Chief of Staff José Gardea spoke in Spanish to a group of people during a candidates’ forum and discussion held at the Highland Park Recreation Center on April 27.
The candidates offered their views on a range of local and regional issues, including job creation—the subject of the above video—Southwest Museum, Transit Village, bike lanes on Figueroa, affordable housing, and the Wal-Mart Chinatown. The runoff election between the two candidates will be held May 21.
This is the third in a series of videos on the candidates’ discussions in Spanish.
