Food Truck Report: The Lineup for Tuesday, August 1

The food trucks are back. The festival may have a new name, but many of the great trucks remain.

The Highland Park Din-Din-a-Go-Go Food Truck Fest has a new name and a new Twitter handle. HParkDDAGG is now known as "Highland Park Dinner on the Go." If you're still following HParkDDAGG on Twitter, make sure you switch over to their new account, HParkDOTG for the latest food truck updates. 

Regardless of monikers, the food trucks will return to at 6312 N. Figueroa St. tonight at 5:30 until 9 p.m., bringing with it a dazzling array of local flavor.

Here's a look at some of the trucks will be participating in tonight's feast, along with links to their web-sites, Twitter accounts and menus (when available). While it's never easy to decide which truck will earn your hard earned dollars, hopefully this list will give you a head start in making your choice.

Don Chow Tacos offers Chinese/Mexican fusion cuisine on four-wheels. Chinese Tamales anyone? Check out their menu and look for updates on Twitter at @donchowtacos.

Rebel Bite is a new entry to HParkDOTG who offers "comfort food that takes you down memory lane with an attitude." Check them out on Twitter at @RebelBite, or check on their menu over at their website.

Waffles de Liege stake their claim as Southern California's first and only food truck serving up authentic Liege waffles, the lesser-known cousin to the Brussels waffle. Check out their menu and follow them on Twitter at @wafflesdeliege.
