Man Shot In El Sereno Business Corridor: Police

LOS ANGELES — One man was injured and another was arrested after a shooting at a commercial intersection in El Sereno, according to police.

Officers responded around 4:20 a.m. Monday to a report of a shooting at Eastern Avenue and Huntington Drive, police said. When they arrived, the officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound and took another man into custody, according to police, who said both men were in their 50s. The victim was taken to a hospital in unknown condition, police said.

The area near the intersection where the shooting occurred is home to several businesses, including restaurants, markets and a gas station.
