Monte Mart Market On Ave. 50 & Monte Vista Subletting 600 Sq. Ft.

Monte Mart Market, a store that has been on 248 N. Ave 50, on the southeast corner of Monte Vista Avenue for the past 10 years, is subletting a roughly 600-foot space in the store.

The space is a lot less than 1,600 square feet that the Eastsider L.A. reports is up for lease in an article Friday, quoting and linking to details from a Loopnet listing.

According to store owner Gaby Morales, the space is only about 600 square feet, with a store that's about five times as big. The space was previously an Internet access and computers spare parts space that Morales and her family operated for about a year.

This is the first time that Monte Mart Market is subletting within the store, and a friend of the store owner's family has already shown interest in the space for a proposed tattoos parlor.

"We only have one restroom though," Morales said, adding that some people who had inquired about sub-letting wanted a separate restroom.
