Smell Smoke? There's a Fire Burning off the 10 Freeway

A smoky smell in the air Tuesday afternoon is the result of a fire in the East Los Angeles area near the 10 Freeway, according to local media reports.

with the South Pasadena Police Department which said the smoke is a result of a brush fire in L.A. County off of the 10 Freeway. 

The Pasadena Star News writes that the 8-acre fire was contained as of 2:25 p.m. and said that Pasadena fire officials have been getting calls from residents.
