York Boulevard Park Planning to 'Get Specific' Tonight (Readers Poll)

The actual design for the park will be laid out by community members tonight (Monday, June 27)

After last Thursday brainstorming recommendations for a public park at the intersection of York Boulevard and Avenue 50, Highland Park residents will on Monday evening commence the actual design of the park.

That meeting, coordinated by Living Street’s L.A. on behalf of Councilman José Huizar’s office, was focused on determining the community’s level of support for the project, laying out a plan for attaining funding and gathering a general sense of what the public wants included in the park.

Tonight (Monday, June 27), the community will be asked to get specific with their plan.
