$1M Lottery Scratcher Sold In Hollywood
While other lottery players were chasing billion-dollar jackpots, two scratchers players in Los Angeles County scored $1 million.
HOLLYWOOD, CA – One lucky lottery player is holding a million-dollar lottery scratcher sold in Hollywood, the California Lottery announced this month.
According to the state lottery, Varoujan Minasian scored $1 million playing Xtreme Multiplier. The winning ticket was sold at Fry's Hollywood Shell in Los Angeles. Also in Los Angeles County, Martin Canas landed $1 million playing Xtreme Multiplier. His ticket was sold at TownHouse Liquor Store in Bell Gardens, according to the California Lottery.
The stores that sold the winning $1 million tickets get a $5,000 bonus, and proceeds from the sales of scratchers help fund the state’s public schools, colleges, and universities.
