Armed Robbers Hit 4 Hollywood-Area Stores In 90 Minutes: Report
Police are investigating a series of armed robberies that occurred Thursday night along the 101 Freeway, according to a report.
HOLLYWOOD, CA — Police are investigating a series of armed robberies at several businesses in Hollywood and Studio City that occurred in a 90-minute span Thursday night, Fox 11 reported.
Employees at Poquito Más at Lankershim and Cahuenga boulevards were held at gunpoint and robbed in front of patrons at around 8:30 p.m. About a quarter mile away in the Cahuenga Pass, armed suspects stole thousands in cash from the Elite Smoke shop, the TV station reported.
A half mile away, a cashier at Universal Liquor Store was held at gunpoint and suspects took money from the register, Fox 11 reported.

Police are also investigating a connection between those incidents and a robbery at a 7-Eleven near the 101 Freeway and Hollywood Boulevard, Fox 11 reported.
Suspects in all four cases were described as men wearing dark clothes and ski masks who were armed with handguns.
