Hollywood Barricaded Suspect Surrendered to Police [UPDATE]
The possibly armed suspect was holed up inside a nearby residential building after police responded to call of shots being fired.

HOLLYWOOD, CA - Police have the suspect barricaded inside a residential building Thursday morning in custody after a four-hour stand off, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Police responded to a 4:45 a.m. call of shots being fired in the 1200 block of Edgemont Street in Southeast Hollywood, LAPD Officer Rosario Herrera said.

No injuries were reported, she said.
The suspect surrendered to police shortly after 9 a.m. after holing up inside a nearby residential building for more than four hours.

The barricade caused even more gridlock for the already heavily trafficked Sunset and Santa Monica boulevards during the Thursday morning commute.
