Fire Breaks Out At Hollywood Apartment Building Early Wednesday: LAFD

A fire broke out at a Hollywood apartment building early Wednesday morning, firefighters said.

HOLLYWOOD, CA — It took 26 firefighters 22 minutes to extinguish a fire that broke out in a Hollywood apartment building early Wednesday morning, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Firefighters responded to a two-story apartment building at Hollywood Boulevard and Formosa Avenue, just west of La Brea Avenue, Wednesday at around 2:30 a.m. Fire was showing from one unit, firefighters said.

Firefighters contained the fire to that single unit and successfully extinguished the flames, according to the LAFD.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
