Fire Breaks Out At Sunset Boulevard Auto Body Shop

A fire broke out at a Hollywood auto body shop Thursday morning.

HOLLYWOOD, CA — It took 32 firefighters about 20 minutes to extinguish a fire that broke out in an auto body shop on Sunset Boulevard Thursday morning, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Firefighters responded to 7610 Sunset Blvd. for the fire at the one-story commercial building. On the scene, crews determined the fire was located in the duct system for a spray booth used to paint cars, according to the LAFD.

"Crews contained the fire to the spray booth, saving the rest of the business," the LAFD said.
