Firefighters Extinguish Blaze in Two-Story Little Armenia Home

Two firefighters being assessed for non-life threatening injuries.

A vacant two-story home caught fire in the Little Armenia neighborhood in Hollywood today, and two firefighters was being assessed for non-life threatening injuries, a fire official said.

Firefighters were dispatched at 8:30 a.m. to 714 N. Kenmore Ave., near Melrose Avenue, and had the fire out at 8:49 a.m., said Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles City Fire Department.

The cause of the fire and damage estimates were under investigation.
