Firefighters Extinguish Fire Near Griffith Park Overnight
The fire burned about an acre of land and was extinguished in about an hour.

LOS FELIZ, CA — Firefighters were called in to extinguish a brush fire that broke out around 10:41 p.m. Monday night in Griffith Park. The fire burned about an acre of land and was extinguished by 11:45.
Several helicopters were seen circling the area as firefighters from Los Angeles Fire Department battled the blaze. No structures were damaged and no injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
