Where to eat: Eater LA recently listed Wood & Vine on its "Eater Heat Map," a feature that highlights restaurants popular among the foodie crowd. The restaurant, which recently opened, offers local batches of wine, cocktails and seasonal shared plates. Also on the list is Cleo located in the Redbury hotel.

Celebrating Star Trek: A series of screenings from the Star Trek franchise kicks off tonight at the Egyptian Theatre. Tonight, Star Trek: The Motion Series hits the big screen at 7 p.m. General admission tickets are $11.
