Hollywood Power Outage Affecting Over 1,500 Customers

LADWP expects power to be restored by the afternoon.

HOLLYWOOD, CA — Over 1,500 customers in Hollywood are without power Wednesday morning as crews work to repair the cause of the outage, according to the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power.

The outage started around 8:30 a.m. DWP estimates the power will be restored by about 2 p.m. The utility hasn't revealed the cause of the outage, which is centered around Sunset and Cahuenga boulevards.
