HOLLYWOOD, CA — A motorist crashed her car into a liquor store in East Hollywood early Sunday morning, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Officers were dispatched to the 4800 block of Santa Monica Boulevard, just west of Vermont Avenue, at around 2:30 a.m. in response to the crash, police said.

Video from the scene aired by KTLA shows the woman's Honda CR-V was heavily damaged. The force of the crash bent metal columns that separated the windowpanes of the store. Merchandise was scattered around the business and an ATM and lottery machine were destroyed.
