Pedestrian Killed On Southbound 101 Freeway At Western Avenue
The crash happened around 6 a.m. near the Western Avenue exit.
HOLLYWOOD, CA — A pedestrian was fatally struck by a car on the southbound 101 freeway Wednesday morning. The crash happened around 6 a.m. at the Western Avenue exit according to California Highway Patrol.
A description on the victim was not immediately available. Three lanes on the southbound side of the freeway were closed this morning while authorities investigated the scene.
California Highway Patrol tweeted a photo of the scene just before 7 a.m.
