The '80s female rock band the Go-Go's were awarded the 2,444th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday.

Band members Belinda Carlisle, Charlotte Caffey, Gina Schock, Kathy Valentine and Jane Wiedlin were honored at a ceremony in front of the site of the since-closed nightclub The Masque where they played their first show.

The honor coincides with the 30th anniversary of the release of their landmark debut album Beauty and the Beat.
