Rolls-Royce Crashes In Hollywood Police Chase
A suspected car thief led police on a chase through Hollywood before slamming a Rolls-Royce into a DWP truck.
HOLLYWOOD, — A suspect was arrested Friday afternoon after crashing an allegedly stolen Rolls-Royce while being chased by police in Hollywood.
The chase began about 5:30 p.m. and ended about 20 minutes later in the area of Franklin and Cherokee avenues, where the luxury sedan collided with a city Department of Water and Power work truck, according to Los Angeles police.
The car had dealer plates. The unidentified male suspect initially ignored commands to exit the vehicle but eventually complied, was ordered to the ground and was taken into custody.
