HOLLYWOOD, CA — The Trump star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame met a familiar foe this morning: James Otis' pickaxe. For the second time this month, Otis was arrested for vandalizing the star in the early morning hours.

Police arrested the 56-year-old Otis at 7:05 a.m. around 6200 Hollywood Boulevard, less than a mile away from the star. Otis was booked for felony vandalism and quickly bailed out of jail with $45,000.

Earlier in October, Otis was arrested for destroying the star while wearing an Incredible Hulk costume. Rana Ghadban, President and CEO of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, voiced her displeasure at the time of the incident.

"When people are angry with one of our honorees, we would hope that they would project their anger in more positive ways than to vandalize a California State landmark," Ghadban told TMZ. "Our democracy is based on respect for the law. People can make a real difference by voting and not destroying public property."

Otis also vandalized the star in October 2016, less than two weeks before the presidential election. That time, he was sentenced to three years probation, 20 days of community service and a $4,400 fine for the damage.
