Tenant Resource Clinic Set For Saturday In Hollywood
The clinic comes as eviction looms for Angelenos who benefited from pandemic-era renter protections.
HOLLYWOOD, CA — As pandemic-era tenant programs ready to sunset next month, officials are hosting a clinic Saturday for people who are, or may soon be, facing eviction.
We Are LA, an initiative of Mayor's Fund LA, is hosting a Tenant Resource Clinic at Cheremoya Avenue Elementary School, 6017 Franklin Ave., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The event comes as tenants who live in Rent Stabilization Ordinance units will be required to pay back rent from Oct. 1, 2021 to Jan. 31, 2023 in full by Feb. 1. That's due to the expiration of the city's last pandemic-era renter protections.
