Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson Sued for Son's Crash
The suit alleges the actors' son was under the influence at the time of the crash.

LOS ANGELES, CA - Actors Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson and their 25-year- old son were sued Monday by a man who says he was injured in a collision involving the couple's offspring, who was allegedly high at the time of the crash.
Terry Moogan filed the negligence suit in Los Angeles Superior Court, seeking unspecified damages.
A representative for Hanks, Wilson and their son, Chester, could not be immediately reached for comment.

The suit states that the actors' son hit Moogan's Mercedes-Benz on the Harbor (110) Freeway in Los Angeles about 2 p.m. on Feb. 13, 2015. Chester Hanks, who goes by Chet, was "under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol at the time," the suit alleges.
The actors owned the Chevrolet their son was driving, and allowed him to get behind the wheel even though they knew he was a "careless and reckless driver and a habitual user of drugs and alcohol," the suit alleges.
