Tory Lanez Charged With Assault In Megan Thee Stallion Shooting
Megan Thee Stallion says Lanez shot at her feet several times after an argument in the Hollywood Hills.
HOLLYWOOD, CA — Tory Lanez has been charged with felony assault in the Hollywood Hills shooting of Megan Thee Stallion on July 12. The rapper will be arraigned next Tuesday in the downtown Los Angeles courthouse.
Lanez was also charged with carrying a loaded, unregistered gun in a vehicle. The 28-year-old could face up to 22 years and eight months if convicted.
According to a statement from the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office, Lanez and Thee Stallion got into an argument while riding in an SUV in the Hollywood Hills after leaving Kylie Jenner's house. After Megan attempted to leave the vehicle, she says Tory Lanez shot at her feet several times and wounded her.

Megan Thee Stallion previously accused Tory Lanez of shooting her via Instagram Live.
"Tory shot me," she said in the video. "You shot me and you got your publicist and your people ... lying... Stop lying."
