Vacant East Hollywood Church Damaged In Fire Tuesday Morning: LAFD
A vacant church was badly damaged in a fire that broke out early Tuesday morning, according to the LAFD.

HOLLYWOOD, CA — A vacant and boarded-up church in East Hollywood was heavily damaged by a fire that broke out at the structure early Tuesday morning, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Firefighters responded to the church at 1017 N. Heliotrope Dr., just south of Santa Monica Boulevard, before 4 a.m.
It took 96 firefighters nearly an hour to extinguish the heavy fire in the 4,100-square-foot church, the LAFD said.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
