Week in Review: Suspects Arrested, Indie Thursdays and a Look at the Village Coffee Shop

Two women in a Hollywood apartment, authorities reported on May 9. A neighbor attacked a 60-year-old woman and a 24-year-old woman on North Gordon Street, authorities said.

The Los Angeles Police Department's Hollywood Division on May 11 that four suspects were in custody for the killing of Lorenzo Smith at an April 17 party.  Investigators told the public they are seeking one more suspect.

Hollywood Patch attended at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel to profile up-and-coming musicians.  Each month selected artists get the chance to play and gain exposure at a showcase held in the hotel's lobby bar.

On Saturday hundreds of residents got an inside look at their neighborhood fire stations thanks to the Los Angeles Fire Department's annual . It gave residents the opportunity to meet firefighters, see their life-saving tools and have breakfast at the LAFD Museum in Hollywood.
