HOLLYWOOD, CA — September rolls in with a fresh slate of streaming offerings for every mood, bringing chills and thrills to Netflix land in the coming weeks.
Leading the pack is “Wednesday” Season 2, Part 2, dropping Sept. 3, with Jenna Ortega reprising her iconic role as the youngest member of the famously macabre Addams family. Expect secrets to unravel and alliances to fray in the chilling four-episode season finale. Gwendoline Christie returns as the spectral Principal Weems, while Lady Gaga makes a dazzling cameo as a flamboyant therapist.
Looking for a historical drama? “House of Guinness” premieres Sept. 25. The high-stakes, eight-episode series from “Peaky Blinders” creator Steven Knight follows the powerful Guinness family as they inherit the world’s most iconic brewery and face betrayal, ambition and legacy in 19th-century Dublin and New York.

Other notable picks include “Black Rabbit,” a gritty limited series starring Jude Law and Jason Bateman; “Beauty in Black” Season 2, Tyler Perry’s sizzling drama starring Taylor Polidore Williams and Ricco Ross; and “Wayward,” Mae Martin’s atmospheric thriller starring Toni Collette and Sarah Gadon.
For something lighter and uplifting, “The Wrong Paris” arrives Sept. 12. This romantic comedy of mistaken destinations and unscripted romance stars Miranda Cosgrove and Pierson Fodé.
