Wrong-Way Driver Killed In Hollywood Freeway Collision
Another man who collided with the wrong-way driver was taken to the hospital with major injuries.
HOLLYWOOD, CA — A man driving the wrong way on the 101 Freeway was killed in a head-on crash at 1 a.m. Thursday morning that left the other driver critically injured. The 24-old-man from Paramount died at the scene according to California Highway Patrol.
The name of the deceased driver was withheld until the family could be notified.
The man, who was driving a 2008 BMW, was driving south on the northbound side of the freeway when he rammed into a 2014 Subaru just north of Hollywood Boulevard. Two other drivers were involved in the "chain reaction" crash but were unharmed.

Clayton Chiapuzio, the driver of the Subaru, was taken to a hospital to be treated for major injuries.
All lanes on the freeway were closed until about 4:45 a.m. Anyone with information on the crash is asked to call the CHP Central Los Angeles Area office at 213-744-2331.
